WMTS INC. started operations in Michigan in 2004, as a speciality cutting tool maker. The company was moved to Waterloo, Indiana and began full time operations in January 2007. With this move came a refocus of the business. With 30 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and production machining, the owner knew firsthand the difficulty in finding a suppplier of low volume CNC machined parts.
As a result, WMTS INC. became focused on providing short/small run production and prototype machining utilizing CNC turning and milling. In addition, WMTS INC. has full CAD-CAM capabilities. Utilizing Solid Works and Solid Cam Software, we are able to produce production parts, prototypes and tooling from 3-D models, as well as 2-D drawings.
In of April, 2007, WMTS INC. became ISO 9001:2000 certified in the areas of general machining and manufacturing. Our quality manager has 20 plus years of experience and is an ASQ Certified Quality Technician. We are fully familiar with ISO:9001-2000, TS-16949:2002, and can provide full PPAPs when required.
